This Workshop is focused on Training and Conditioning
for All Dog Sports
What is it?: All of our workshops are designed for the first time beginner handler or dog to the most advanced handler and SPECIALS/HIT DOG looking to capture that “WOW FACTOR” that will take them to their first or next BIS or HIT. The workshop includes CANINE CONDITIONING for all dog sports and for keeping your dogs fit while they are aging. They teach you how to use their methods to start a new dog from the very beginning or trouble shooting any of your existing training problems and teach you and your dogs new training games to improve every aspect of your performance. You are welcome to bring multiple dogs no extra charge.
Joy and Vaughn are first and foremost dog trainers. Their second focus is Canine Conditioning, they have conditioned some of the Top Dogs in the following venues; Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking, Water Work, Field retrieving, Ring Sport and Protection work. They have over 37 years of training and showing dogs in both conformation and obedience. Their success is well proven with over 100 all breed BEST IN SHOWS plus several SPECIALTY BEST IN SHOWS and HIGH IN TRIALS on their MANCHESTER TERRIERS and VIZSLAS. Vaughn is a CKC licensed obedience judge.

OUTLINE FOR THIS WORKSHOP
SATURDAY MORNING
“Focus Training” for beginner to very advanced handlers and dogs.
Teach handlers how to train the “basic group of skills” for “hand stack”, “free stack”, “stand for exam”,including “solid stand stay”. We will teach fun training games so both handlers and dogs learn to enjoy the training process that will help them achieve their goals.
“Problem Solving”, “force Stack”, “free stack” and “stand for exam”.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Training “proper movement” for up and back and go around. Including training dogs how to move out in front for “better presentation”. “Solving movement problems”.
Putting handlers and dogs through a basic assessment course to help us “better advise individuals on the best presentation for their dogs”. This of course for the first time Beginner just starting a show career to advanced handlers with Specials dogs wanting to improve their performance from the Breed ring to Best In Show ring.
SUNDAY MORNING CANINE CONDITIONING:
This is a short cut time saving method of conditioning your “show dog” to make him fit and keep him fit to ensure that Judges only see him “at his best”.
We are privileged to have conditioned several of Canada’s and the US’s top show dogs for many years.
SUNDAY AFTERNOON
“Training and presentation tips” to make sure that you will “look like a professional” the next time you are in the show ring.
All of your questions and problems will be dealt with over the course of this two-day workshop.
